APS is proud of the level of support we provide practices, especially in procedure and diagnosis coding. We have been active in encouraging our staff (through seminars and course attendance) to expand their capabilities and expertise. Many of our 15 certified coders have specific areas of focus including but not limited to: emergency room documentation and coding, interventional radiology coding, etc. and all of APS coders undergo detailed retraining as revisions to CPT codes are released.

APS also believes our decision to locate our coders on the same floor fosters a consultative environment among the coders which creates a knowledge-sharing environment.
