APS’ staff includes members who have been responsible for negotiating and administering insurance carrier contracts for organizations ranging in size from single physicians to multi-specialty practices, including hundreds of doctors. Our focus is on ensuring each practice understands the complexities of the contracts and the likely ability of the carrier to comply with the contract.  Many carriers are not aware of the specific clinical treatment patterns used and the implications those patterns have on billing.  While their contracts indicate a certain treatment for your claims, their systems may not have the ability to administer the contract.  APS monitors carrier payments and adjustments to insure that the correct treatment is given to all claims.
