A critical element in managing medical claims is to determine the causes and types of denials experienced by a client.  Many of these denials are the result of structural issues that arise from inappropriate registrations, inappropriate documentation, onsite coding and bad addresses.  APS focuses on denial management as a way of reducing the number of claims that are initially filed with these types of errors.  By reporting and managing denials we can improve the process and reduce the time it takes to get client claims resolved.
